How to play
Notes race down a four-lane highway toward the line at the bottom. Hit each lane's key the moment its note crosses the line. Long notes with a glowing tail must be held until the tail ends. Every note comes from the music itself, from a melody note, drum hit or arpeggio, so following the song is the best way to stay on the beat.
Hits are judged Perfect, Great or Good by timing, and the game tells you whether you were early or late. A miss breaks your combo.
Songs and unlocking
Every song is an original composition, synthesized live in your browser. Tap a song's cover on the list to hear a preview.
- Sunrise Run (112 BPM): a bright, easygoing opener.
- Neon Avenue (124 BPM): night-drive synthwave.
- Paper Lanterns (96 BPM): slow and dreamy, full of long holds. Unlocks at 2 stars.
- Crystal Cascade (132 BPM): sparkling arpeggios and fast runs. Unlocks at 5 stars.
- Overdrive (150 BPM): the hardest track, with doubled kicks and dense chords. Unlocks at 8 stars.
Scores, ranks and stars
Each song is scored out of 1,000,000. Rank S is 950,000+, A is 900,000+, B 800,000+ and C 700,000+. Stars come from your rank (S = 3, A = 2, B and C = 1) and unlock new songs. The leaderboard adds up your best score on each song, counting Hard fully, Normal at 80% and Easy at 60%.
Tips
- If notes feel consistently early or late (common with Bluetooth headphones), adjust Audio offset on the song list.
- Raise note speed once you can read the patterns. Faster notes are easier to time because they're spread further apart.
- Rest your fingers on D F J K like typing; don't hover above them.
- Clear a song on Normal before trying Hard. The melody is the same, just with more notes.
